Climate Change Crews

Climate Change Crews (CCC) | Weekly during the month of April

Climate change is here now. What we do today matters. Your involvement in the movement matters.

This program is designed to help you take climate action through the support of a community. You will be placed in a small group aka a "crew" and meet weekly in the month of April. Each crew will have a facilitator to guide the group’s discussions and each week there will be a call to action!

Registration is now closed for this event.

WHO SHOULD JOIN: Anyone that is “climate curious,” a “climate expert,” or something in between! We are looking to have meaningful conversations where participants can learn from one another and be inspired to take action.

WHY JOIN: Thinking about climate change can feel overwhelming, so join a crew to meet and learn from others. See how your individual action is amplified when you are with a crew. We will give you practical calls to action.

WHEN IS CCC: Crews meet weekly during the month of April at a set day/time. (There will be 4 meetings in total). You can select the day of the week and time that works best for you when you register. (Crews meet Sundays, Wednesdays, OR Thursdays).

WHERE DOES CCC MEET: Crews meet online on Zoom.

EXAMPLE TOPICS OR CALLS TO ACTION: We will discuss the role of individuals in the climate movement as well as the need to focus on systemic changes to shift policy. Some examples of actions we will encourage include moving your money to a climate-friendly bank and phone banking with us to encourage non-voting environmentalists to vote. There are many levers to enacting climate policy and we will discuss these various levers.

HOW MUCH: Pay what you can. Suggested donation amounts are $10, $25, or $50. If you cannot donate at this time, that is okay! Please email sarah@ecologicprograms.org to let her know.
