Event: Climate-Themed Play “Come Along for the Ride”

Date: Saturday, July 13, 2024

Time: 3:00 PM

Location: Links Hall, Chicago (3111 N. Western Ave)

Tickets: $10 in advance, $15 at the door

This quirky and timely play follows the lives of two women navigating life with climate anxiety. The play follows the journey of the two friends as it toggles between the present and a somewhat dystopian 2074, as it covers various themes including climate-migration, modern dating, family planning, and more. Join us for an afternoon of community, as we cry, laugh, and commiserate with the cast and audience. The event will also feature a talkback session facilitated by Kris Tyler, providing a chance for deeper discussion and connection.

Our flagship Eco.Crews program returns in September! This 6-week program is for anyone who wants to learn about and take action on #climatechange! As an Eco.Crew participant, you will: 

• Learn about important environmental issues 

• Build community through mutual interests and climate concerns

• Grow your understanding of the many ways to take meaningful action
